Group classes and private sessions in Dubai — building coordination, strength, mobility, and movement intelligence. All levels welcome.
Build strength and mobility together — not one at the expense of the other. Improve joint health, body composition, and your movement vocabulary.
Cultivate coordination, adaptability, and problem-solving in motion. Refine how you move, increase efficiency, and bring real awareness to your body.
This is not a program. It is a practice you sustain and evolve. Build skills that compound over time and a relationship with movement that lasts.
Most people move every day — but very few learn how to move well. Without proper guidance, structure, and feedback, effort alone rarely leads to real transformation.
That changed for Jonny Clayton when he began his study under Ido Portal. Through dedicated practice within that methodology, Jonny now brings the same structured, evolving approach to Dubai — guiding students through a practice that develops strong, adaptable bodies and a deeper relationship with physicality.
Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced athlete, the work starts the same way — meet your body where it is, and take it further than you thought possible.
Get in TouchRegular group sessions held at Umm Sequim Park and Heal Hub. Train alongside a community of practitioners at different levels — all working toward the same depth of practice.
One-on-one sessions with Jonny, tailored entirely to your body, history, and goals. The fastest way to address specific limitations, injuries, or to accelerate your practice.
New to the practice? Drop-in / Trial Class — 150 AED. No commitment, just come and move.
Open-air sessions in the natural surroundings of Umm Sequim Park. Movement in an outdoor environment adds a layer of adaptability that no gym can replicate.
A dedicated indoor space for group classes and private sessions. A focused environment built for serious practice — no distractions, just movement.
I came in with years of gym experience but no real body awareness. Within a month I was moving in ways I simply had no access to before. This is a different category entirely.
The private sessions with Jonny helped me recover from a long-standing shoulder issue that physio couldn't fix. His attention to detail and understanding of the body is remarkable.
I've tried yoga, crossfit, martial arts. Nothing has built the combination of strength, coordination, and awareness that this practice has. I can't imagine stopping.
Book a drop-in session at 150 AED. Come to Umm Sequim Park or Heal Hub, Mon–Thu at 17:30. Just show up and move.
Your first month is about getting your bearings — early fruits of effort and a glimpse of what consistent practice can produce.
With consistency, your movement changes — becoming stronger, more adaptable, more intelligent. This is where it gets interesting.
There is no ceiling. Projects evolve, challenges deepen, and your capacity continues to expand the longer you stay in.
Do I need prior experience or to be in good shape?
No. Movement Practice DXB welcomes all levels. Jonny will meet you wherever your body is today and build from there. Many students start with no movement background whatsoever.
How is this different from yoga, crossfit, or martial arts?
Those disciplines each serve a narrow slice of development. A movement practice is concerned with your broad, general movement capacity — coordination, adaptability, strength, and embodiment — as an integrated whole.
Where are classes held?
Group classes are held at Umm Sequim Park (outdoor) and Heal Hub (indoor), Dubai. Classes run Monday to Thursday, 17:30 – 19:30. Private sessions can be arranged at a location that suits you.
What does it cost?
A drop-in or trial class is 150 AED. Monthly membership is 2,000 AED, giving you unlimited access to all Mon–Thu sessions.
What if I have old injuries or physical limitations?
Many students begin with injuries or past limitations. Jonny adapts training to your current capacity and designs sessions to work with — not against — your body's history.
What results should I expect?
On the surface: improved strength, mobility, and movement vocabulary. Deeper: coordination, improvisation, and movement quality. Deepest: the feeling of being genuinely at home in your body.
